How is Hogwarts? At least you all have My mum's driving me mad. Trying to teach me to knit, of all things. Knitting! You'd think she'd know me by now after twenty-four years.
But Hogwarts - as bad as the year with Umbridge, or worse?

Everything that's happened lately...the war starting again, Moody's death - it isn't bloody fair. Not that life ever is, but why is this happening now? Because a meglomaniac decided that his life is more important than everyone else's? Because people are dumb enough to follow him to their deaths?
It doesn't make any bloody sense. You can't force yourself into power, not real power. It doesn't work that way.

It's been ages since I've written in this thing. Sorry about losing touch, really - while it's nice to be with my family and all, it drives me absolutely mad. They don't let me leave unless I'm with someone, like all of the sudden I need someone to mind me constantly. It's awful. No freedom whatsoever.
I want to fight. Is that so bloody difficult to comprehend?

Everything that's happening...it really is war again, isn't it? And I can't do a bloody thing to help. I love my family and my husband, but this is horribly frustrating.
How many people are going to die tomorrow, on both sides? And what happens when we've killed each other off until there's no one left to fight?
I want to be out there. I want to do something. Five Aurors were injured, and I should've been a part of that. Not the injured part, but I should've been there.

So I told Remus a few days ago and he still isn't acting like himself.
Well. Wedding was rather interesting, wasn't it? Congratulations to Bill and Fleur - at least you two managed to tie the knot before everything fell to pieces. Lovely wedding and reception, even if it was interrupted by slobbering, mangy dogs Death Eaters.
